Take My Breath Away Prep

Take My Breath Away was the first dance showcase created by "Helena Tjhie", a ballroom dance teacher in Melbourne. The event was a big success, many people came to watch either their friends' performances or merely joined in the fun. The dance choreography were really good, a thumbs up for Helena. There's a touching love story which had made one of the guest shed a tear.

Before the show started, I was allowed to take quick shot of the female dancers in the preparation room. Some of the girls did their own makeup, and sometimes they helped the others too. Everyone was helping each other from hair-do, makeup to dressing. All of them were excited to perform, noone looked tense. And you could tell how much they enjoyed the dancing from their fabulous performances. Well done dancers =)

Joanna the little chinese girl

Last time when we saw Joanna, she's still a little cry baby, who's so attached to her mom. But when we saw her again on Chinese New Year's day she had become more active, she even interacted a lot with new people. This little girl was brave enough to wander off by herself. She went to explore the playground, and at the same time she happened to make some new friends by herself. She touches almost everything on the playground, she is such a little curious girl. We all love Joanna, she's such a sweetheart.

Melbourne Photography Club session: Calvin Klein?

Warning: This photo may contain drugs which can cause halucination for the viewer, especially girls!

Every monday night there's a photography session held in melbourne photography club. All you need to bring is your camera, you don't need to prepare the lighting, the club already set up a studio complete with lighting equipment and background wallpaper.
There are also volunteer models come to the club to pose for you.

Most of the people in the club were guys, there were only 2 female photographers including myself. When i asked the male model to take off his shirt (note: i kept imagining armani's ad poster) some guy in the room started to tease me, then everyone laughed and said stuff like "see..girl always ask him to take his shirt off. We know that his body is good, it's all buffed up, no wonder she asks him to take it off my face went all red instantly....
